Touchton Electric, Inc., doing business as Touchton Electric & Alarms, runs this website. This page explains what information we collect here and what we do with it.

Our business name

Touchton Electric & Alarms is the name we do business under. Our legal company name is Touchton Electric, Inc. Both names refer to the same family-owned company at 205 E 29th St in Pittsburg, Kansas.

What we collect

When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address (if you give it), town, and the message you send us. If you sign up for our text alerts, we also keep your mobile phone number and a record that you agreed to get texts from us. Like most websites, we also get basic visit information, such as your browser type and the pages you looked at.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your question, set up a visit, or give you a quote. If you sign up for text alerts, we use your mobile number to send you notifications about your alarm system, such as an alarm event at your address. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who else sees it

Our website and contact form run on an outside software platform that stores form entries for us. Our text alerts are sent through our alarm software provider and Twilio, a text messaging service. They use your number only to deliver our messages. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Text messages (SMS)

We do not share your mobile number or your text sign-up information with anyone for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the companies that help us send the texts.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop getting them, or reply HELP for help. Our Terms and Conditions have more details about our text alerts.

Calls and email

If you give us your phone number or email, we may call or email you about your request.
